AWARD WINNING ALBUM

We are very proud to announce the birth of our new album Award Winning Album. Recorded in January 2011, Award Winning Album is a collection of 10 songs and features a fantastic roster of behind the scenes talent – and we think you will love it. Thanks to FACTOR and Ontario Arts Council for making this great project financially possible.

Award Winning Album will officially be released in Europe on May 19th and released in Canada in September 2011. EUROPEAN TOUR

The DoneFors are gearing up for a European Tour from May 19 – May 28. This will be the band’s first official tour abroad and will see us performing in The Netherlands and Germany.

A SPECIAL PROJECT

Janine Stoll and Paul MacDougall of The DoneFors are currently participating in a research residency in Germany for a special project. They are working towards creating a body of work based on a family history. This promises to be a really interesting journey and resulting collection of music. Janine and Paul would like to thank Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council for supporting this endeavor.

SUMMER SHOWS

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been invited to perform at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival. Catch us on the main stage at Metro Square at noon on July 3rd.

The west coast of Canada will soon get a real, live dose of The DoneFors. Festival appearances in British Columbia include ArtsWells Festival and Edge of the World Festival. Additional club dates to be announced shortly.
